Event Details

Join the Los Angeles Local Chapter on August 21 for a beautiful morning hike up the Los Leones trail in Pacific Palisades, one of our favorite trails in the area. This hike, limited to 40 RSVP's, is just under 4 miles and features the beautiful Paseo Miramar lookout at the half way point - a great spot to take pictures. The first mile is almost flat and quite easy, while the second mile has steeper gradients. This is not a race, and any hiking pace is welcome. We will wait at the Paseo Miramar lookout for slower hikers so that we can get a great group photo taken, and then will head back down the trail. Overall, we rate the hiking difficulty for this trail as moderate. After the hike, you are welcome to stick around and join us for coffee or tea at the local Starbucks - it's just a block away. We look forward to seeing you!

Chapter Membership: In order to join us and receive updates and instructions, you must belong to our Los Angeles Local Chapter. Our chapter has a dedicated group page and joining is 100% free. If you haven't joined, please do so here before RSVP'ing. To keep our RSVP lists fair and on a priority basis for our members, we cross check our member roster and will cancel out RSVP's received from anyone who is not a chapter member.

      We meet at the bottom of Los Leones Drive, right at the corner of Sunset Blvd near the fire station (not at the Los Leones trailhead which is further up the street).
    • 8:00am Los Leones Hike8:00am- 10:00am
      We will hike up Los Leones until we hit the Paseo Miramar lookout spot.
    • 10:00am Post Hike Coffee & Tea10:00am- 10:30am
      Join us at Starbucks a block away for a post-hike coffee or tea
