I’m a 48 years old divorced mother of 3 adult children. My diagnosis occurred when I was 36 years old and my children were 17, 14 and 6. It’s been 12 years since I heard the words “we got it all”! I received major help and support from my mother, a retired nurse, but many of my friends didn’t understand and were afraid and therefore weren’t as supportive. This is why I’m here. I want to be able to be supportive to someone who needs it from someone who simply understands.
