Cancer Kicking Tuesdays Event Policy
Cancer Kicking Tuesdays (“CKT”) with host Dr. Kristi Funk are organized and brought to you by Pink Lotus Power Up, LLC (“PLPU”). Each CKT workshop is subject to this event policy. By completing a purchase for one or more of our CKT workshops, you confirm and agree to the following:
Payments
Your registration for CKT workshops must be submitted on the Pink Lotus Power Up and must be paid in full via credit card or PayPal before your ticket will be confirmed. Payments by phone or mail are not accepted.
Cancellations and Transfers
You may transfer your registration to another event date at no cost by using our CKT Modification Form. A registration may only be transferred once, and the individual submitting the substitution request must match the name and e-mail address of the person who originally purchased the registration. If you need to cancel your registration or change the number of attendees currently registered under your registration, please submit a request via our online CKT Modification Form. Cancellations must be received by the time outlined below in order to qualify your purchase for a refund.
- Registrations cancelled more than 60 calendar days before the day of the event will receive a full refund.
- Registrations cancelled 30-56 calendar days prior to the day of the event will receive a refund of 50%.
- Registrations cancelled less than 30 days prior to the day of the event are non-refundable.
No Medical Advice
The CKT workshop information and content provided by PLPU and presented by our host Dr. Kristi Funk is exclusively for informational purposes. This information and content is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our host, Dr. Kristi Funk, is not providing you with a medical consultation as a physician nor is Dr. Funk addressing or contemplating any of your personal medical or health concerns, if any, during a CKT workshop, even if you have at some point in the past been, or currently are, a patient of Dr. Kristi Funk or an associated medical group. Always seek the advice of your own physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. If you are currently under the care of Dr. Kristi Funk as a patient and need to discuss your personal medical condition, you may not do so during a CKT workshop organized by PLPU. Instead, make an appointment with Dr. Kristi Funk in her capacity as your physician at her current place of business and during regular business hours. Do not disregard professional medical advice you have received or delay in seeking such advice because of something you have heard or read during a CKT workshop. If you think you may have a medical emergency, you should call your doctor, go to the emergency room, or call 911 immediately. Reliance on any information or content provided during a CKT workshop is solely at your own risk.
Potentially Explicit Content
Furthermore, with its focus on breast health, CKT workshops may contain health or medical-related materials that could potentially be interpreted as sexually explicit. If you find these materials offensive, you may not want to attend a CKT workshop.
Release of Liability
PLPU, its shareholders, directors, officers, members, speakers and/or sponsors accept no liability of any kind for the acts of any attendees during a CKT workshop, or for the safety of any attendee during and/or while in transit to or from one of our events. PLPU reserves the right to cancel any future CKT workshop without liability. PLPU further reserves the right to admit and the right to exclude any person from a CKT workshop, or refuse service to any attendee, at the sole discretion of PLPU. Furthermore, PLPU is under no obligation to provide an explanation for its actions, but may do so at its own discretion.
Image and Audio Release
By registering for a CKT workshop, you hereby grant PLPU the right and permission to use, publish and republish photographs, video and/or audio of the CKT event you attended, which may include you in whole or in part, and to use, publish or republish them in any printed or electronic matter or media as PLPU sees fit. By registering for any CKT event, you forever discharge PLPU from any and all claims and liability arising out of or in connection with the use of any photographs, videos or audio recorded at any CKT workshop.
