Affiliate URL

Affiliate URL’s are the standard way to refer visitors to our store (there are other ways). Every Affiliate is automatically provided a standard Affiliate URL which allows our store to recognize that the referral is coming fro your account. The URL can be visually improved by using a Custom Slug, and this can be changed on your Settings page. A custom slug creates a nicer appearance of your Affiliate URL, which is particularly helpful when your referrals can see the URL (ie: you printed it on a card, sent it via e-mail or newsletter, etc). If you own a website with your own domain and plan to send traffic to our store via your website, make sure to learn more about Direct Links as this will simplify your affiliate setup.

Affiliate URL’s are best used on social media, mailing lists, printed materials, website or blog comments, articles or news media, and blog contributor content you create for websites you do not run yourself. If you run a website with your own domain, we highly recommend you get your domain approved as a Direct Link instead. You can still use your Affiliate URL for referrals that don’t originate from your website.

All Affiliate URL’s end with r= and your affiliate ID. For example, if your affiliate ID is 0 and you are referring traffic to our main store page, your Affiliate URL would look as follows: https://pinklotus.com/elements?r=0 – however, your Affiliate ID can be appended to any page in our store. For example, if you only care to send referrals to our TopicAloe product, the affiliate ID would look as follows: https://pinklotus.com/elements/topicaloe?r=0. Your personal Affiliate URL can be found right here on this page.

You can generate an unlimited amount of Affiliate URL’s for your account. You can also add an additional campaign name to further track performance or your different efforts via Google Analytics or other tracking tools.
