kcalIn less crazy times, you may not find a Mango Mule recipe in our Cancer-Kicking! Kitchen – generally we focus on recipes with disease-fighting ingredients. Having said that, 2020 hasn’t been enitrely normal. There are antioxidants in fruit like mango, but juices generally spike insulin and let your body absorb that fruit sugar at a rapid pace.
During Covid, however, limiting your alcohol consumption is a big enough Cancer-Kicking! reason itself to include this non-alcoholic mocktail recipe. Not sure about the connection between alcohol and breast health? Read my blog post for all the details about why it matters during Covid (and after). And if you still prefer that occasional drink, be sure to supplement with Cosmo Companion to counteract the negative health effects.
Now, on to our Mocktail recipe. Mango is an acquired taste for some, but I just find it so delicious and soothing. The ginger beer adds just enough kick to the recipe to give it a unique cocktail-like taste profile. After having a few sips, you might think you are on holiday somewhere (permanent Covid holiday, anyone?).
